The lock museum is located at the Småstraum lock on the way to the Panorama Ski Centre.

  • Kviteseid Open Air Museum (Kviteseid bygdetun)

  • Norwegian skiing adventure Morgedal (Ski Museum Morgedal)

Morgedal is known as the "cradle of skiing", as this is where Sondre Norheim, who laid the foundations for modern ski bindings, came from. The museum has an exhibition showing the development of skiing. The exhibitions also tell of the race to the South Pole in which Olav Bjaaland took part, Norway's first ski wax factory and the dream of the Olympic flame. There is an "Olympic torch" on the site, as the torches for the Winter Olympics in Norway (Oslo 1952 and Lillehammer 1994, as well as Squaw Valley 1960) were lit at the hearth of Sondre Norheim's birthplace.

  • Grimdalstunet

There is a museum here with works by Anne Grimdalen, who is one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century in Norway.
Her big breakthrough came in 1938, when Anne won the competition to decorate the west wall of Oslo's new city hall. In 1950 she was awarded H.M. the King's Medal of Merit in Gold for her artistic work. Here in Tokke you can visit Grimdalstunet, the mountain farm that was Anne's childhood home.
In the basement you will find an exhibition of paintings about Draumkvedet by Karl Erik Harr. There are also annual indoor exhibitions of contemporary art from the entire region.
In the same area there is a museum that tells the story of the carver's life and artistic work. There is also a café and a gallery with changing art exhibitions in the basement.
There is an open-air museum on the site with around 10 buildings from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

The Vest-Telemark Museum Eidsborg is located right next to the stave church and consists of a modern museum building from 2012, a courtyard with over 30 houses and one of the world's oldest wooden buildings, the Stålekleivloftet from 1167. On the museum grounds there is an adventure park with a 105 metre long model of the Telemark Canal and a farmstead with various craft activities. The canal is open to lock during the summer season.

The Norwegian Industrial Labour Museum consists of a total of seven different facilities. In Rjukan, the former Vemork power station is one of the largest and is also a UNESCO World Industrial Heritage Site.
